    IHG Reports Revenue Growth Amid Middle East Conflict

    InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) reported a 6% rise in half-year revenues to $1.26 billion, aided by a 4.8% increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR) in the Americas, driven by World Cup demand. However, the Middle East conflict caused a 19% drop in RevPAR in that region. Overall, operating profits increased by 10% to $665 million.
