    Twenty Teachers Struck Off for Serious Offences

    The Teaching Council of Ireland has removed twenty teachers from the register due to serious offences including theft, gambling, forgery, and inappropriate relationships with students. During the 2025/2026 academic year, the council received a total of 65 complaints, leading to the removal of eight teachers for various misconducts.
