    Belfast City Centre Pedestrianisation Consultation Planned

    Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins announced plans for a public consultation on expanding pedestrianisation in Belfast city centre. Following the successful car-free streets during the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, which attracted over 1.6 million visitors, the Minister aims to reshape urban spaces to prioritize people and promote sustainable travel. The consultation will be launched in the coming weeks.
