    NTA proposes improved access for pets on transport

    The National Transport Authority (NTA) has announced proposals to allow greater access for pets on public transport, including buses, trains, and trams. Small dogs and cats may travel on laps or the ground, while larger dogs must be leashed and muzzled. The proposals follow a public consultation that received 2,567 submissions, with strong support for the changes.
