    Museum employee charged with explosive possession

    Simon O'Donovan, a National Museum employee, has been remanded in custody after being charged with possession of an explosive device linked to a bomb found in a car in Co Monaghan. He expressed a desire to reapply for bail, having been denied previously. The court will reconvene on October 5 for further proceedings.
