    Font with Royal Ties Returned to Shropshire

    A Norman font, once at Gordonstoun school during King Charles' education, has been returned to St Michael’s Church in Upton Cressett, Shropshire. Prince Philip arranged for the 12th-century font to be moved to enhance Charles' surroundings. The font, with ornate carvings, was saved from obscurity and is now appreciated for its royal connections and historical significance.
