    Met Police Accused of Failing Trafficking Victims

    The Metropolitan Police are under scrutiny for not referring victims of human trafficking linked to Mohamed Al Fayed to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM). Survivors reported self-initiating referrals through NGOs. The Home Office confirmed at least five victims of modern slavery. The ongoing investigation, Operation Cornpoppy, is examining over 400 allegations against Al Fayed.
