    Hadi Alodid, a 31-year-old Sudanese national, is facing charges including attempted murder following a knife attack in Belfast that left the victim, Stephen Ogilvie, partially blinded. The incident triggered significant rioting in the area. Alodid's case will be fast-tracked to Crown Court, with a preliminary enquiry scheduled for September 23. He remains in custody without legal representation.
