    Half a million paid for playpark injuries in Northern Ireland

    Northern Ireland councils have paid over £567,000 in compensation for injuries at playparks in the last five years, with 320 incidents reported. Antrim & Newtownabbey Council had the highest payout at £188,703. The majority of injuries were not attributed to council fault, often resulting from equipment malfunctions or normal play activities. Safety remains a priority for councils.
