    Firefighter to Stand Trial for Dangerous Driving

    A firefighter, Adam Shand, 37, is set to stand trial for allegedly causing serious injury through dangerous driving in Belfast. The incident occurred on January 16, 2024, when a fire engine collided with a double-decker bus while responding to an emergency. Shand has been charged with causing grievous bodily injury and is awaiting a Crown Court trial date.
