    Weak enforcement of new e-scooter laws expected

    The Garda Representative Association's President warns that the enforcement of new e-scooter laws, effective tomorrow, will be weak. Mandatory helmet and high-visibility clothing rules will be introduced, along with raising the minimum age for use to 18. However, without vehicle registration, enforcement against non-compliant users remains a significant challenge, according to Detective Garda Niall Hodgins.
