    Sinn Féin's Pearse Doherty stated that the Government's decision to delay the phasing out of fuel excise duty cuts was influenced by public pressure. The cuts, introduced in April due to rising fuel prices, will now be phased out from November to February. Sinn Féin plans to oppose any increases in fuel duties while prices remain high.
