    Buckingham Palace has denied claims made by Earl Spencer, brother of the late Princess Diana, regarding comments allegedly made by King Charles shortly after her death in 1997. The palace stated that 'fraternal grief can cloud reason' in response to accusations that Charles said Diana would be forgotten 'soon enough'. The claims are part of Spencer's memoir being serialized in the Daily Mail.
