    Over 4,000 Complaints to European Consumer Centre

    The European Consumer Centre Ireland (ECCI) managed 4,182 complaints in 2025, recovering €421,000 for consumers. Air travel issues made up 34% of complaints, with Irish consumers representing 48% of cases. The ECCI noted a decrease in flight disruption complaints but an increase in issues related to late check-in and baggage charges. Consumers have strong rights under EU law.
