    Boy's Rare Blood Type Treated Successfully

    Qasim Rizwan, a nine-year-old from Bolton, was diagnosed with autoimmune haemolytic anaemia, a rare blood disorder. His unique blood type complicated transfusions, but after receiving multiple donations from the NHS Blood and Transplant frozen blood bank, his health improved. Qasim and his family visited the bank to thank the staff and donors for their lifesaving contributions.
