    Long-term benefits claimants face new work requirements

    Reform UK has proposed that long-term benefits claimants must work 20 hours a week in community roles or risk losing their benefits. Treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick announced this plan, part of a broader initiative to cut £50 billion from the welfare budget. The changes would also restrict foreign nationals from claiming most benefits in the UK.
