    Lewes railway closed after train derailment

    A Southern train derailed near Lewes, East Sussex, injuring two passengers seriously but not life-threateningly. The railway between Lewes and Haywards Heath will remain closed for at least ten days as recovery efforts and repairs are underway. Rail replacement buses will operate, and customers are advised to check travel options and use alternative services where possible.
