    Frances Connolly and her husband Patrick won €127 million in the EuroMillions, becoming the largest winners in Ireland's history. They have chosen to give away half of their winnings, stating that it is human nature to help others. This win surpasses the previous record held by Limerick's Dolores McNamara, who won €115 million in 2005.
