    Households in Ireland will see an increase in electricity network charges by approximately €41 annually, raising total costs to around €541. This change follows recent price hikes for Electric Ireland customers. The Commission for the Regulation of Utilities approved these charges to fund system upgrades while reducing the Public Service Obligation levy significantly. Network charges now make up 30-45% of overall costs.
