    UK inflation is projected to increase to 3.1% in August, up from 2.9% in July, driven by higher fuel prices linked to the Middle East conflict and rising electronics costs. Analysts anticipate that petrol and diesel prices, which rose 7% month-on-month, will contribute significantly to this uptick. The Office for National Statistics will release the latest CPI data on Wednesday.
