    The Social Democrats have criticized the Government for being in a 'doom spiral' amid rising energy costs. They claim the Government lacks a coherent plan and is reacting to external pressures. The Cabinet has agreed to phase out excise duty cuts on fuel from November to February, while calls for targeted energy credits and long-term solutions continue.
