    Tóibín Calls for Permanent Fuel Excise Cuts

    Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín has urged the Government to make temporary fuel price cuts permanent, criticizing wasteful spending of taxpayer money. He highlighted the significant number of people in energy arrears and pointed out that the Government overspends by €4bn to €5bn annually. Tóibín also called for increased funding for defense and reforms in citizenship rules.
