    France and UK increase police to tackle dinghy crossings

    UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham and French President Emmanuel Macron are enhancing police presence on the French coast to combat the rise of 'mega dinghies' crossing the English Channel. A surge team of 45 officers will be deployed, nearly tripling resources. The leaders will also discuss broader issues including the Ukraine and Iran wars during their bilateral meeting.
