    ExxonMobil has been fined £267,000 after five leaks of flammable hydrocarbons at its Mossmorran plant in Scotland. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found that the company's inspection system was inadequate, leading to prolonged leaks caused by corrosion under insulation. HSE emphasized that the lack of proper management could have resulted in catastrophic events, although none occurred.
