    ECB to Raise Interest Rates in September Meeting

    The European Central Bank (ECB) plans to increase interest rates at its September meeting to address inflation driven by the ongoing Iran conflict. This would raise the policy rate from 2.25% to 2.5%. Despite this hike, ECB officials are not signaling further increases, as long-term inflation expectations remain stable at 2%.
