    Dublin garda sent for trial over alleged assault

    A Dublin garda, Patrick Moloney, has been sent for trial following an alleged assault in the city centre nearly two years ago. He is accused of causing harm to a male at Wellington Quay on October 9, 2024. The case will be mentioned in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on October 29. Moloney was remanded on bail of €200.
