    Delay in raising e-scooter age limit to 18

    Transport Minister Darragh O'Brien and Minister of State Seán Canney will launch new e-scooter road safety measures today. However, the planned increase in the minimum age for e-scooter use from 16 to 18 will be delayed until later this year due to legal processes. Helmets and high-visibility clothing will become mandatory for users starting Friday.
