    Dublin clamps removal costs could reach €800,000

    Dublin City Council estimates that replacing damaged or illegally removed vehicle clamps may cost nearly €800,000 over three years. Between 2023 and 2025, over 9,000 cases of clamp removal were reported, with Marlborough Place and South Circular Road being the most affected areas. The council noted that many clamps are recovered and repaired rather than replaced.
