    Dublin clamp replacements cost €800,000 over three years

    Dublin City Council estimates that replacing damaged or illegally removed vehicle clamps could cost nearly €800,000 over three years. From 2023 to 2025, over 9,000 cases of clamp removal were reported, with Marlborough Place and South Circular Road being the most affected areas. Many clamps are recovered and repaired, affecting the actual financial loss.
