    Consumer sentiment increased to 63.2 in August from 61.6 in July, nearing pre-conflict levels. The index had dropped to a 40-month low of 53.3 in April due to rising fuel costs linked to the Middle East conflict. Despite the rise, it remains below the long-term average of 83.1, indicating ongoing consumer pressure.
