    New Build Home Value Cap Increased to £230,000

    Stormont’s Department for the Communities has raised the cap on new build homes eligible for the co-ownership scheme to £230,000, effective September 15. This change reflects inflation in the building sector, following an earlier increase for existing homes. Despite this, many new builds remain unaffordable under the ownership model, with average prices exceeding £262,000.
