    A Belfast man, Glen Kane, had his case dismissed after a judge ruled she lacked jurisdiction. Kane was accused of possessing a religious pamphlet intended to stir racial hatred. The judge identified a legislative defect due to the absence of a consent certificate from the Director of Public Prosecutions. Kane denied the charges and walked free from court.
