    Assisted Dying Bill Returns to Parliament for Vote

    The assisted dying Bill, led by MP Lauren Edwards, is set for a Commons vote on September 11 after previously running out of time. The legislation allows terminally ill adults in England and Wales to apply for assisted death with medical approval. Despite Prime Minister Andy Burnham's abstention, Edwards remains confident about its passage through Parliament.
